In Firozabad, when there was not enough food at a wedding, sticks and batons were used in the marriage home. The baraatis and gharaatis kicked and punched each other. Chairs were thrown. The fight between the two sides escalated so much that the marriage was broken.

The girl dressed in bridal attire remained sitting with mehndi on her hands. 6 people were injured in the fight between the two parties. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. A video of this incident has also surfaced. The police is investigating the matter.
After a fight between the wedding party and the family members, the goods were destroyed.
The bride was waiting for the rituals
A girl from village Himayunpur was engaged to Vikas, a resident of Ramnagar. On 10th July Vikas reached village Himayunpur with the wedding procession. The procession stopped at a marriage home. Everyone was treated very well. The girl was also sitting dressed as a bride and waiting for the wedding rituals. Suddenly there was chaos among the wedding party members while eating food. There was shortage of food.
They used sticks on each other fiercely
The baraatis started creating a ruckus over this. The people of the bride’s side allege that they tried to convince them a lot, but they did not listen. The dispute escalated so much that it led to lathi-baton (sticks) fight. Both the sides attacked each other with sticks. Tent chairs were also thrown. About half a dozen people were injured in the ruckus. The bride’s side complained about the matter to the police.
There was a lot of commotion at the wedding. The tables and chairs lying there were broken.
The relationship broke, the wedding procession returned without the bride
The uproar increased so much that both the parties refused to get married. The girl’s side has alleged that the boy’s side was demanding equal amount of money. But we had to prepare food. When we refused to give money, they beat us up over this issue. The police is investigating this matter. Meanwhile, the video of lathi-charge at the wedding ceremony is going viral.
