Even though it is not raining in Prayagraj, preparations have started to prevent dengue and communicable diseases. District Magistrate Navneet Singh Chahal has given instructions to the health department as well as other concerned officials. In which it has been said that dengue and communicable diseases should be prevented.

The District Magistrate said that ASHA workers should be deployed who go door-to-door and identify such patients who are suffering from fever for many days. They should encourage people to refer such patients to the hospital so that they can be treated in time.

Health department officials were also present in the meeting.

Spray anti-larvae on a large scale

The district magistrate has directed the health department, malaria officer and DPRO to conduct a campaign on a wide scale and ensure that proper arrangements for anti-larvae spraying, lime spraying, cleanliness and drainage are made on a regular basis.

He has also asked for continuous spraying of fogging and anti-larvae in schools, colleges, slums, hospitals, offices and other areas.
