In Raebareli, a husband first had a drinking party with his five friends at home. After that all of them gang-raped his wife. Not only this, they later killed his wife.

When the villagers informed the police about the incident, the police reached the spot, investigated and sent the body for postmortem. But to hide the entire incident, the police got the body burnt on the outskirts of the village at night.

Chandni had a love marriage 2 years ago

There was a huge uproar between the villagers and the police in Churuwa village of Bachhrawan police station area of Raebareli on Saturday evening. Actually, Jeetu Singh, a resident of the village, had a love marriage with Chandni, a resident of Uttarakhand, 2 years ago.

Jeetu is fond of drinking alcohol. It is alleged that Jeetu Singh called his five friends to his house. After drinking alcohol, his friends gang-raped his wife in his presence. Not only this, to hide the matter, he was murdered.

Accused of altering the postmortem report

When the villagers informed the police about this, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. But when the body reached the village late on Saturday evening, the villagers suspected that the police had made changes in the postmortem report to hide the incident. Then when the body of the deceased woman Chandni reached the village, the villagers refused to perform the last rites. There was a ruckus and altercation between the police for several hours.

As soon as Bachhrawan police station in-charge Vijendra Sharma reached the spot, the villagers tried to get information, and the police told them that the death was due to a head injury. Hearing this, the villagers again got angry. The villagers allege that Jeetu Singh, along with his five companions, gang-raped her. After that, she was murdered.

CO Yadvendra Pal said that the woman had a head injury due to which she died. A complaint has been received from her parents’ side. On the basis of which an FIR has been registered and investigation is being carried out. The accused husband Jeetu Singh has been taken into custody and sent to jail.
