On Sunday afternoon in Lalitpur, in the presence of policemen, two parties fiercely clashed with sticks and axes over the disputed land which was confiscated. Due to which 9 people from both the parties got injured. The injured were brought to the Community Health Center Talbehat for treatment.

When the policemen present during the fight tried to intervene, no one listened to them and the government board and fencing on the confiscated disputed land were also broken and thrown away. The police have started taking action against both the parties. The police say that the disputed land was measured, but both the parties did not agree, after which the land was confiscated on July 1.

People not satisfied with the measurement
There is a piece of land on the Purakalan road in Majra Gadaryana village of Khandi. Kailash Choubey’s field is on one side of that land and Suresh Kushwaha’s field is on the other side. Both are claiming that the land is theirs. There was a dispute between the two for a long time over this land. On 28 June, the field was measured in the presence of many revenue personnel and police personnel of the district, but those people were not satisfied with the measurement.

Due to which a police picket was put up there, not only this, the land was confiscated on July 1. On Sunday, Kailash Chaubey was cutting a tree near the confiscated disputed land. During this time Suresh Kushwaha got suspicious. After this, people from Suresh and Kailash’s side clashed with each other and the police personnel deployed on the land tried to convince both the sides and fiercely attacked each other with sticks and axes. Due to which five people from Kailash’s side and four people from Suresh’s side got injured.

FIR lodged against both the parties
CO Kuldeep Kumar said that both the parties clashed over the disputed land that was confiscated and there was a fierce fight. FIR has been registered against both the parties.
