In Raebareli, a married man befriended a girl on Facebook. After that, he pretended to be in love with her. Four months ago, both of them had a love marriage. When the girl came to know about his reality, they had a fight. After the fight, the boy called the girl to meet him on some pretext. Then, the boy told his friend that he was in love with her.

Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Bhauna village in the Jahanabad police station area of Pilibhit, became friends with a girl from Raebareli through Facebook. The two kept talking for about a year. They also met 4-5 times.
According to the CO, both of them fell in love after meeting. During this time, the boy did not tell the girl that he was married. Both of them had a love marriage in January 2024. After this, Ramesh started living with the girl in a rented room in Raebareli. Everything was fine for a few days.
Suspected of talking to someone else
The victim told the police that I suspected that Ramesh was talking to someone else besides me. When I asked him, he got angry. Then I came to know that he was already married and he was talking to his wife.
Called on the pretext of talking and did cruelty
When I protested against this, he threatened me and silenced me. Then one day Ramesh along with his friend Manoj called the victim to meet him in Raebareli city on 22nd May on the pretext of talking. There they both had a fight. After this both of them together raped her.
After the brutality, both the accused fled from the spot. Somehow the victim went home and told her family about the incident. The family took her to the police station. On May 23, a case was registered against both the accused.
The victim filed a case
After registering the case, the police started looking for the accused. The accused switched off their mobiles. Yesterday, the police arrested the accused from Sareni police station area through information from an informer and surveillance. The accused had come from Pilibhit and was living secretly in Raebareli.
CO said- both the accused were sent to jail
CO Lalganj Anil Kumar Singh said- Both the accused of gangrape have been arrested. Both were absconding for about a month. A boy named Ramesh was already married. He hid this fact from his girlfriend and married her. After that he along with his friend committed brutality. Both the accused have been sent to jail.
