A 40 hour long procession was taken out
Regarding the procession, Advocate Iqbal Hussain Rizvi said that this procession is 400 years old and lasts for 40 hours. This procession, which passes through many police station areas in 40 hours, is taken out by Anjuman Javvadia and during this time women of every community make vows.

Make a vow to get a child
Iqbal Hussain Rizvi said that women come to this procession with a wish to have children. They fulfill their wishes by feeding milk to Duldul and offer offerings when their wish is fulfilled.

A procession is taken out in the memory of Hazrat Hur
After the procession started, a gathering was organized in Imambara Sitab Rai. While delivering the sermon, Maulana read that ‘Hazrat Hur was the commander in chief of Yazidi but he returned to Imam Hussain and asked for forgiveness. He reached Imam’s court with his son and said that he had made a mistake. After this, Imam Hussain hugged Hur. It was from here that Imam Hussain had won the battle. This procession is taken out in celebration of this victory.

The prayer recited when the procession started
When the procession started, Sawari was read. After this, when the procession reached Dalmandi, Anjuman Javvadia started mourning. This sequence continued till Dargah Fatman. The Anjumans did mourning in the procession and the pilgrims reached Dargah Fatman in the procession. Anjuman Javvadia, Anjuman Hussainia, Anjuman Paighame Hussaini, Anjuman Sajjadia etc. used to do mourning and mourning. Mutawalli Syed Iqbal Hussain and Ladle Hasan were looking after all the arrangements of the procession.

The procession will pass through 8 police station areas
Advocate Iqbal Ahmed Rizvi said that this procession of Kashi maintains the Ganga Jamuni culture. The procession passes through 75 percent areas of the city and 8 police stations. This procession used to go on continuously for 40 hours. During this time, the procession used to pass through Nai Sadak, Kalimahal, Matakund, Pitarkunda, Fatman, Chetganj, Ausanganj, Jaitpura, Dosipura, Daranagar, Baheliyatola, Pathanitola, Hanuman Phatak, Lat Bhairav, Chohattalal Khan, Muqimganj, Gaighat, Thatheri Bazaar, Chowk, Patthar Galia and used to reach Imambara Kachchisarai on the third day and cool down.
