ADG Zone Agra Anupama Kulshreshtha reached Aligarh on Monday to check the security arrangements in Aligarh. Here she inspected the police line with the officers and then did a foot patrol in the sensitive areas of the city. While doing the foot patrol, she saw the routes of the Tazias and also saw the arrangements for burying the Tazias at Karbala.
ADG also inspected the arrangements around Karbala and Idgah.

ADG Agra Zone Anupama Kulshreshtha was accompanied by IG Shalabh Mathur, SSP Sanjeev Suman, SP City Mrigang Shekhar Pathak and other police officers. The officers inspected the Kotwali area, Delhi Gate, Idgah, Karbala and other areas.
During this time, the officials also talked to the prominent people of the Muslim community and told them to take out the Tazia procession only on the prescribed route. Along with this, people have been appealed to keep the height of the Tazia only up to the prescribed length. Do not keep it too high, so that there is no problem while taking out the procession.

After inspecting the city, ADG held a meeting with police officers and police personnel in the police line. During this, the officers were told that in the coming days, along with Muharram, Sawan month is also coming. During this time, Kanwariyas will go out carrying water.
Rakshabandhan, Independence Day and other festivals are also falling in August. Therefore, police officers should be fully alert and keep inspecting the arrangements by patrolling their area on foot. If they find any problem or see anyone suspicious, immediate action should be taken. There should be no negligence with the law and order of the city. Instructions have also been given to decide the routes of Tazia and Kanwadis.
Along with the tour of the city, ADG held a law and order meeting with the police officers.
