Lucknow University opened today after 42 days of summer vacation. With this the new session also started. Studies will also start from the first day itself. Many departments have already released the schedule of classes and uploaded the time table online.

New The proctor had issued instructions for the session
The new session at LU opened from Monday. Proctor Prof. Rakesh Dwivedi issued instructions on Sunday regarding the new session. Students will be able to park their vehicles at the vehicle stands built at gate number one, two, three, four and seven and enter on foot. Instructions were issued to students to keep ID cards with them. While teachers, employees and handicapped students have been given vehicle passes, they will be given entry from Vivekanand gate.
Hostel allotment started
Hostel allotment of students living in various hostels of Lucknow University last year has been started for the session 2024-25. Chief Provost Prof. Anup Kumar Singh said that on Sunday, hostels were allotted to PhD researchers as per rules. PhD girl students were given Golden Jubilee, BR Ambedkar hostels and boys were given Balrampur and HJB hostels.
