Former minister Chaudhary Udaybhan Singh’s domineering grandson Divyansh Chaudhary was given one month’s time to surrender in court. Tuesday is the last day of the one month time limit. Today is the last day left for him to surrender. If he does not surrender, the police will take action for attachment.

The incident happened on Rishi Marg on April 15. The business family created a ruckus. A case was registered against the former minister’s grandson at Shahganj police station under the section of attempted murder. The accused Divyansh Chaudhary is absconding since then. A reward of Rs 25,000 has been announced on him. He went to the High Court for relief. The High Court had earlier ordered him to surrender in the lower court within 21 days. But the accused has not surrendered yet. The police had pasted pre-attachment notices on two houses of the accused. An announcement was made by beating drums. As per the court order, he was to surrender within a month.
ACP Loha Mandi Mayank Tiwari said that the one month period will end on Tuesday. The investigator has been instructed. He will give an application for attachment action in the court on Wednesday. At the same time, the police has also received the news that if there is no settlement, all the ways of defense of the accused are closed. He can surrender in the court on Tuesday. So that the police cannot take action for attachment. After surrender, he will submit an application for bail. The girl’s family is strongly advocating in this case. They will oppose the bail in the court. They had advocated till the High Court.
