This is the pain of Tabassum who lives in Pantnagar. She breaks down on hearing about the demolition of her house. She has taken a flat in a 16-floor building. Tabassum says while crying- I have no son. We belong to nothing. We have invested every single penny.

She says, we are surviving on pension. How will we pay 12-15 thousand rupees as rent, who will marry us when we are homeless. The government should not make us homeless. If I had a son, he would have arranged for a broken hut. We will die of hunger on the road. What will happen to our daughter if I die?

After this mark was put on SBD Home Apartment, people have started protesting.

The government that was elected is cheating

Kusum has not been able to eat food ever since she heard about the house being demolished. Tears well up in her eyes while telling this. Kusum says- Ever since I have gained consciousness, I have been voting for the BJP. The government that I elected is cheating me. They said they will remove poverty and make us rich. They have made us sit on the road.

Showing her displeasure, Kusum said- I have a child who needs to be educated. I paid rent for 12 years. I bought a house by saving every single rupee. I took a loan of about 45 lakh rupees. Where will I go with the whole household? Food is not being cooked in our house. Even if it is cooked, no one is able to eat it properly. We are always worried.

This is Pantnagar. Preparations are underway to run bulldozers on these houses.

Appeal to Yogi ji- open your eyes and look at the public

Krishna Pal says that he has been living in Pantnagar for five years. We have to educate our children. I appeal to Yogi ji to open his eyes. Look at the people. What will we do? Where will we live? Will we build houses for our entire life and give them to our children? We have the papers.

Saba said that the building is legal. We have the original papers. We will not leave the land. Our appeal is that the house should not be demolished.

Today our time is bad, tomorrow the government may have a bad time

Priyanka said- I am a four year old girl. Now the government is telling me to leave. When they have to build it themselves, they just remove the trees and throw them away. In a way, the government is eating like termites. The government is doing this. Break it here, break it there. Yogi ji is saying that we are bulldozer baba. Today is our bad time. It should not happen tomorrow. This government’s bad time may come.

On the other hand, Raja Ram Pal says that this land has been purchased from a committee. We have been living here since 2015. Our land is neither in green land nor in the submerged area. Then why has it been marked? Kukrail river is on the other side of the temple. Then why have we been measured? The land has been registered as a residential area.
