Manikpur police station has been accused of murdering the youth. Samajwadi Party has taunted X regarding this matter. On Monday, there was a stir when the body was found naked on the railway track. Injury marks were found all over the body of the youth.

Accused of beating a young man to death

The family members of the deceased Anshu said that the Manikpur police station picked up the youth from Manikpur railway station at 6 pm. After beating him to death, he was thrown on the railway track in a tempo by the Home Guard at night.

The Samajwadi Party took a dig at X regarding the matter.

The youth’s sandals were lying in the police station

The family members had blocked the roads in the town demanding that a murder case be registered against the Manikpur police. It is being said that the youth was a part of the Moharram procession. The police picked him up from there and brought him to the police station for creating a ruckus under the influence of alcohol. On finding the body in the morning, the Chitrakoot police posted the youth’s dead photo on social media for identification of the body. While the youth was in police custody at night. The deceased youth’s sandals are still lying in the police station. His video is also viral. The deceased’s brother Dilip has accused the police of murder.

The loco pilot lodged the memo at the station

SP Arun Kumar Singh said that a case has been registered against the police personnel posted in the police station including the station in-charge based on the complaint given by the victim’s family. He said that his body was found on the railway track. There was a railway accident between Manikpur and Panhai railway station. The memo of which has been registered by the railway driver at the station.
