Angry over not getting salary for a year and not being regularized, the chief maids staged a strong protest in the capital Lucknow. The maids protested by taking out a foot march in Hazratganj.

During the protest at Prerna Sthal in Hazratganj, the main maids said that due to non-payment of salary for the past one year, the family has reached the brink of starvation. There is a crisis from children’s education to running the family.

The government is discriminating

President of Integrated Child Development Employees Association, Rajni Singh said that if the government does not consider our demands, then we will have to face serious consequences in the coming days.

The Anganwadi workers behind us were regularized and made supervisors but despite having all the qualifications, we are still not being regularized. Even before this, we have staged protests and submitted memorandums many times. Despite this, the government is not paying any heed.

Rajni Singh said that the government has faced the wrath of the employees in the last Lok Sabha elections, it may happen that in the coming assembly elections also the government will have to face the brunt of the anger of all of us employees.

During this, the General Secretary of the State Employees Joint Council, R.K. Nigam said that the services of the head maids and clerks who have been working for the last 22 years have neither been extended for a year nor are their honorariums being paid.

On Tuesday, a large number of chief nurses protested against the government. General Secretary Rita Yadav said that all of us are frustrated and mentally disturbed due to the discriminatory attitude of the government.

Among the protesters were senior vice president Sangeeta Prasad, organization minister Meenakshi Gupta, treasurer Anita, vice president Dr. Alpana, Nivedita, publicity minister Meenakshi, Geeta Kesari, besides state employees joint council vice president RK Verma, observer Nagendra Bhushan, organization minister Abhay Singh, vice president CL Gupta, Mukesh Dwivedi, Kundan Saini, Ram Prakash, child development and nutrition president Ajit Pratap Singh, general secretary Abhishek Bajpai etc.
