In Mainpuri, by-elections will be held for the vacant posts after the sudden death of the people’s representatives who won the Panchayat elections. By-elections will be held for 5 Gram Pradhans in the district. Along with this, elections will be held for 13 other posts.

The District Election Officer said that the by-election process will start from July 22. The voting process will be completed in the Gram Sabha on August 6.

Let us tell you that the winning Pradhans have died in village Sonasi of development block Kishani, village Belahar of development block Kuravali, village Bajhera of development block Bewar, village Goshalpur Gehiyar of development block Jagir, Bada village of Mainpuri Sadar development block. At the same time, 7 Gram Panchayat members including BDC member of ward number 49 of Kishani development block have died. After their death, these posts became vacant. Due to which elections have to be held for these posts.

District Election Officer Avinash Krishna has fixed the date for the by-election. In which the nomination process will be completed on July 22 from 10 am to 4 pm. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on July 23. The process of withdrawal of nomination will be completed on July 24. After that, election symbols will be allotted to the remaining people. Voting will be held in the Gram Panchayat for all these posts on August 6. The result of the by-election will be declared on August 8. For which the Mainpuri administration has completed the preparations.
