In the notification issued by State Election Commissioner Raj Pratap Singh, it has been said that elections will be held for the casually vacant posts of the Pradhan and Gram Panchayat members of the Gram Panchayats (which are not obstructed by the stay order of the court). Nomination papers will be submitted on July 22 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Nominations will start from July 23
Nomination papers will be scrutinized on July 23 from 10 am to the end of work. Nominations will be withdrawn on July 24 and election symbols will be allotted. Voting will be held on August 6 from 7 am to 5 pm. Counting of votes will be held on August 8.

Elections will be held in these Gram Panchayats
District Election Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh said that in the Makarandpur Bangar Gram Panchayat of Ghatampur block, elections will be held for one head, besides this, elections will be held in Khyora Katra, Baikunthpur, Suar, Panka Bahadur Nagar of Kalyanpur, Koro, Kotra, Makarandpur Bangar, Chitauli in Ghatampur block, Birtiyan Bithoor, Bani in Chobepur, Patara in Patara block.

Apart from this, elections will be held for the post of Gram Panchayat member in Jahangirabad Ward 11, 12, Nandana, Musepur, Auria, Saskhelpur, Laxmanpur Mishran of Bilhaur Block, Ramaipur of Bidhanu Block, Delhi Ujaagar, Kurauna Bahadur Nagar, Ward 3, 7 of Imlipur, Kadri Chammapatpur, Narwal of Sarsaul, Garhi Narwal, Phufuwar Rajthok, Ror Gram Panchayat of Bhitargaon Block.

Enrollment will be done in blocks
Assistant Election Officer (Panchayat and Urban) SK Singh said that nominations for Gram Panchayat members and Pradhan posts will be done in the respective development blocks. He said that the names of RO and ARO have been finalized. Counting of votes will be done on August 8.
