A young man who had gone to Chitrakoot on an invitation died under suspicious circumstances. The younger brother admitted in the hospital has told that the elder brother died due to beating. Whereas the police has said that the death was due to an accident. Panchnama of the dead body has been done and postmortem has been done.

This incident happened last night at around 11 pm near Barua Bhatta in Rajapur police station area. Younger brother Umesh Kumar, a resident of Chillirakas who is admitted in the hospital, said that brother Maula (45) had gone on bike to attend a puja program at the house of elder brother Lalluram’s brother-in-law Ram Babu in Matiara village.

Where brother-in-law Avdhesh started using abusive language with brother Lalluram. On being stopped, he also behaved indecently with brother Bhola. Meanwhile, brother-in-law Gabbar, a resident of Katni in MP, started a dispute in favor of his brother-in-law. Regarding this, he was returning with his elder brother Maula on the bike. Then all the people started following him in their four-wheeler. They hit the bike near Barua Bhatta. Due to which he fell down.

During this, they beat him and left him unconscious. On receiving the information, the police brought both of them to the district hospital. Where the doctor declared Maula dead. Umesh is being treated. The police has done the Panchnama of the dead body and got the post-mortem done.

In this regard, Rajapur SHO Manoj Kumar said that he went to the spot after getting information about the accident. Both the injured were sent to the district hospital. Where the doctor confirmed Maula’s death. Prima facie, it appears to be an accident. Action will be taken on the basis of the complaint and post-mortem report. The deceased’s one son, one daughter and wife Shakuntala Devi are in a bad state due to crying.
