A woman died under suspicious circumstances in Thana North area of Firozabad. Police reached the spot and inspected the scene. The body was sent to the district hospital for postmortem. 40-year-old Lata, who lived near Kotla Road Mandi Samiti in Thana North area, was a victim of the same.

On receiving the information, SHO Vaibhav Kumar Singh reached the spot with the police team. The forensic team also reached the spot. The team has inspected the crime scene. The deceased’s daughter Diksha told the police that her neighbor Chhotu had come to the house on Tuesday night. On Wednesday morning, when she went to her mother’s room, she was sleeping. After that, she came back.
After this, when she went again in the afternoon, she was lying dead. SP City Sarvesh Mishra said that no injury marks were found on the body of the deceased. The woman died under suspicious circumstances. Along with sending the body for postmortem, an investigation is being conducted to reveal the incident. The incident will be revealed soon.
