DM Vishal Bhardwaj arrived to inspect the cow shelters in Azamgarh.
Azamgarh district DM Vishal Bhardwaj inspected Ranipur Rajmo Gaushala of Mohammadpur block along with top officials. DM Vishal Bhardwaj directed the Block Development Officer to construct drainage and drains in the Gaushalas. During this, the DM gave four kiosks to the cows.

The DM also instructed the officials to plant trees and cover them with nets so that the plants can be saved. The officials were informed about the inspection a day before. This is why preparations were underway. Along with this, instructions were given to make a drain at the place where the animals stand in the cowshed so that water does not get on the feet of the animals.

Five cows died on July 9
After the death of 5 cows in Kamharia Gram Sabha of Mehanagar in Azamgarh district on July 9, instructions were given to inspect all the cow shelters in the district. In this sequence, the officials had also instructed to inspect all the cow shelters in the district and rectify the deficiencies.
Village Development Officer Vishal Chandra was suspended with immediate effect for negligence in the case of death of cows in Mehanagar. DM Vishal Bhardwaj had directed the officers to make arrangements for green fodder, straw, powdered sugar, water as well as treatment and vaccination of sick cattle.
