A teenager who went to take bath in a drain in Sant Kabir Nagar died due to drowning. On getting information about the accident, the villagers informed the police. The police started searching for the teenager with the help of divers and after 3 hours of hard work his body was recovered. After seeing the dead body of the son, the villagers were shocked.

Kanhaiya Yadav, son of Rambola (16), a resident of this place, went to take a bath in the Siyapoh Kharcha outer drain near the village while grazing buffaloes in the afternoon. While bathing, Kanhaiya (16) suddenly went into deep water. Seeing Kanhaiya drowning, some people who were bathing with him ran and informed the village. The villagers reached there and jumped into the water and tried to save him, but could not take him out due to high water level. After this, on receiving information about the incident, the Menhdawal police reached the spot. The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Silence spread in the village
Kanhaiya was the third among four brothers. Kanhaiya’s death caused silence in the entire village. Inspector in charge Ramkripal Singh said that the body has been taken into custody and necessary action is being taken.
