The police arrived after receiving information about the body being found and conducted an investigation.

The body of an unknown person was found near Bijnor railway station. The police took the body in their custody and tried to identify it. Even after a lot of efforts, the deceased could not be identified. The police sent the body for post-mortem and have started legal proceedings.

The whole matter is from near the railway station of Bijnor city Kotwali area, where the body of an unknown person was found lying on Thursday. On getting the information about the body, a large crowd of people gathered at the spot. Local people informed the police. CO City Sangram Singh, City Kotwal Uday Pratap, reached the spot with the police team.

The police took the body into custody and investigated. The age of the deceased seems to be around 58 years. No identity card was found with him. The police tried to identify him but was unsuccessful. At present, the police has kept the body in the mortuary for post-mortem.

At the same time, some time ago, the body of a young man who was missing for 2 days was found lying in the drain near Dayanand Inter College in the city Kotwali area. He was identified as Ashwani (32) son of Gopichand, a resident of Rampur Bakli. The police sent the body for postmortem. City Kotwal Uday Pratap says that both the bodies have been sent for postmortem. Further action will be taken after receiving the complaint.
