Policemen should do their duty with a sense of service
A huge crowd gathers in Kashi during the month of Sawan. In such a situation, many times the crowd loses its temper and starts quarreling with the policemen. Then the policemen also lose their temper and there are complaints of indecency. In such a situation, Commissioner Mohit Agarwal has asked the policemen to do their duty in the fair area with a spirit of service. He said that all the policemen should talk to the Kanwariyas with a spirit of service and find a solution to the problem.
18 temporary police posts will be built on the Kanwar route
Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal inspected the Kanwar route from Mohansarai, Rohania, Chandpur, Manduadih, Mahmoorganj, Rathyatra, Laxmi to Godaulia and then to Dashashwamedh and then to the temple on Thursday night. He has directed to set up 18 temporary police posts on these routes for security. He has said that women constables should be kept on duty at all the posts under all circumstances.

The Police Commissioner said that all the 18 posts will be made public utility. Most of them will have ambulances or ambulances will be made available in case of emergency. First aid will be arranged on the spot. Drinking water will be arranged so that the pilgrims do not have to face any problems.
Kanwar route should be encroachment free

Apart from this, in view of the rising water level of the Ganges, barricading should be done at all the bathing ghats and divers of the water police should be deployed.
