Raghav Juyal, who has been winning the hearts of fans and critics alike with his phenomenal performance in the Karan Johar and Guneet Monga-produced film Kill, recently opened up about a possible collaboration with the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. Reacting to a viral video in which he and Kill co-actor Lakshya mention a collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan, Raghav clarified that he never claimed to be working on a project with him. Instead, he explained that they had spent time with Shah Rukh Khan until 6 in the morning. It turned out that it was Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, and they had all celebrated together.

The actor told Zoom, “Nahi, humne actually kya kaha tha ki humne chill kiya hai Shah Rukh Khan sir ke saath. Zyada nahi bata sakte, but humne 6 baje tak chill kiya unke saath. Sabko laga project ka kuch baat hai, but aisa kuch hai nahin. Bilkul unko pata hai humari film aane waali thi, he knows how violent the film is. Unhone hum dono ko best wishes aur encouragement hum dono ko. Unke birthday pe hum logo ne bohot maaze kiye the, unka birthday tha and we celebrated it together (No, what we actually said was that we chilled with Shah Rukh Khan sir. We can’t say much, but we had fun with him until 6 AM. Everyone thought it was about a project, but it wasn’t. He knows our movie is out and how violent it is (laughs). He gave us his best wishes and encouragement. On his birthday, we had a lot of fun).”

Recently, Raghav opened up on his producers’ reactions to his act in a chat with News18 Showsha. “They were really happy. I remember, I told Karan sir in Toronto before the film premiered at TIFF that, ‘Sir, I am nervous.’ He and Guneet said, ‘Jaa Raghav, jee le apni zindagi.’ All the memories of working in the film rushed back to me and I felt like Kajol from DDLJ. Aisa lag raha tha ke main train pakad lunga aur wo Kill ki train thi. As an actor I was established with the film, and to the extent that critics have called it the best performance of the year, and that is a big deal for me.”
