Shreyanka took 2 wickets for 14 runs against Pakistan on Friday.
Indian all-rounder Shreyank Patil has been ruled out of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 due to a left hand injury. A press release issued by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Saturday stated that the 21-year-old Indian off-spinner has fractured the fourth finger of her left hand.
Shreyanka bowled 3.2 overs against Pakistan on Friday and took 2 wickets for 14 runs. She did not need to bat as India won by seven wickets in 14.2 overs. Shreyanka has taken 5 wickets in 3 ODIs and 16 wickets in 12 T20s for India.

Tanuja Kanwar has been included in the team in her place
26-year-old uncapped left-arm spinner Tanuja Kanwar has been included in the team in her place. Tanuja plays for Gujarat Giants (GT) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) and Railways in domestic cricket.

The defending champion Indian women’s cricket team will play against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the second match of the Asia Cup on Sunday i.e. today. The Indian team led by Harmanpreet Kaur defeated its biggest rival Pakistan by 7 wickets in the first match.
