Ashwani Kumar (18) son of Ompal, a resident of Bhartiya Kothi village of Usrahar police station area of ​​the district, committed suicide by hanging himself with a sari at around 1 o’clock on Saturday night. Before dying, Ashwani put a status on his Instagram ID. He hanged himself after that. The reason behind the youth’s suicide has come to light as failure in love affair.

The body of the youth was found hanging from the same noose.

Police is considering it as suicide
The family members are alleging that some people from the village strangled their son to death and hanged him. But the police is considering this incident as a suicide at first sight. The police is now engaged in finding out the reasons behind the suicide.

Status posted an hour before death
An hour before committing suicide, the young man wrote a post from his Instagram ID “Happy journey, tonight is the last night, I will never show my face again”. The family informed the police about this at around 8 am. The police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem.

The body of the youth was found in this condition.

Father’s allegation- son was strangled to death
The father of the deceased youth alleges that my wife was lying on the roof and the son was lying down. In which the named people of the village strangled the son to death due to old enmity and half laid him on the cot and half hung him on the noose. When the wife came down at 2 o’clock, some people were seen coming out of the house. When she came down and looked, the son had been murdered.

The deceased’s father alleges that a few days ago these people had tried to kill his brother too. But due to the efforts of some people of the village, he was saved.

Usrahar police station in-charge Mansoor Ahmed said that the Instagram ID was investigated through mobile, in which the youth had put a status on 12.30 pm which read, Aaj ki Raat aakhiri (Tonight is the last day). This shows that the youth has taken this step after failing in love affair. Action will be taken by filing a case on the basis of postmortem report and other facts.
