In such a situation, the police registered a case and started looking for the accused. In this regard, Kotwali in-charge Shashimouli Pandey was busy in revealing the case. Meanwhile, a team was formed to reveal these incidents of theft, which started looking for the accused. In this sequence, during the investigation, the police gathered information about the accused from the CCTV footage. The names of Sunil and Shyam Narayan came up in this police investigation. Both these accused have been arrested from a junk shop in Hafizpur on Saturday night.

Gangster charges will be imposed on the accused arrested with a stolen bike in Azamgarh, said SP City Shelendra Lal.

SP City said that he will be considered a gangster and his property will be confiscated

Regarding this, the district’s SP City Shailendra Lal said that the accused admitted their involvement in 10 bike thefts during interrogation. After committing the incidents of bike theft, the accused used to make profit by cutting the bikes and selling them to scrap dealers. A stolen bike, 18 engines, 20 chassis, 10 silencers, 14 tanks and a large number of bike parts were recovered from the possession of the accused.

Both the arrested accused are being sent to court from where they will be sent to jail. Nine cases are registered against Sunil while eight cases are registered against Shyam Narayan. SP City says that apart from gangster action, property confiscation action will also be taken against the arrested accused.
