Superintendent of Police Dev Ranjan Verma has suspended the city police chief of Ballia for allegedly tampering with a case. The Superintendent of Police has handed over the charge of the city police station to Yogendra Singh, who has come from Mau, in place of Inspector in charge Sanjay Kumar Singh.
