Emotional Krishan Kumar Gets Support From Bobby Deol, Kartik Aaryan at Daughter Tishaa’s Prayer Meet – News18
Stars arrive at Krishan Kumar’s daughter’s prayer meet.
Several Bollywood stars were seen making their way to the prayer meet organised in the memory of Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar.
Bollywood stars Bobby Deol, Farhan Akhtar and Kartik Aaryan extended their support to Krishan Kumar at his daughter, Tishaa Kumar’s prayer meet. Tishaa, Bhushan Kumar’s cousin, died on July 18 and the funeral took place today, July 22. In videos shared on Instagram, the stars made their way to the prayer meet venue to offer their condolences.
Farhan, Bobby and Kartik arrived solo and immediately headed to meet Krishan. They were followed by singers Sonu Nigam and Shaan. Also present at the venue were Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapur and Rakesh Roshan. Check out the videos below:
Bhushan Kumar was also present at the prayer meet on Monday evening.
Earlier in the day, a devastated Krishan was spotted making his way to the funeral ground to perform the last rites of his daughter. He was supported by his friends. His wife Tanya was also spotted at the funeral venue, participating in the prayers. Several Bollywood stars including Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh were seen offering their tributes before the funeral procession.
On Friday morning, a T-Series spokesperson issued a statement confirming the death and said, “Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that family’s privacy is respected.”
Born in September 2003, Tishaa was a private person who did not usually make a lot of public appearances. However, one of her last public appearances was in November 2023, when she attended the premiere of the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal. Back then, she was seen posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet with her father, Krishan Kumar.
