Mahadev’s devotees eagerly wait for this holy month of Saavan. According to the belief, Mahadev is the only deity who keeps blessing his devotees even with less expenditure. Although these days his worship has also become expensive by 20 percent, but his devotees have no regrets about it.

Dainik Bhaskar spoke to some devotees on the first Monday of Sawan regarding the inflation in the price of puja items. People said very frankly that they do not care how much they spend in worshipping Mahadev. The witch of inflation cannot deter people from worshipping Mahadev.

Kaushalpuri resident Ramrikh Singh says that inflation has definitely affected the devotion to Mahadev but he also added that it is a matter of individual faith and ability. God is hungry for devotion but the prices of the items used in his worship have increased these days.

Shimla Singh says that there is no compromise in the worship of Mahadev. Due to inflation, there can be no reduction in the materials used in his worship. It is Mahadev who runs the world. Without him, imagining life is futile. Mahadev will destroy the witch of inflation.

Manoj Kannaujiya, Pancham Singh Dariyal, Harinath Singh, Mahendra Singh, Amit Singh and Vinay Singh say that the devotion to Mahadev cannot decrease due to inflation. Yes, there has been a decrease in the ingredients in the puja plate but it has not affected us.

Subhash Tiwari and Madhu Tiwari arrived to worship Mahadev

Subhash Chandra Tiwari and Madhu Tiwari, who came to worship at Sankatmochan Temple, said that Mahadev is worshipped with devotion. We will not make any cuts in his worship no matter how much inflation comes. Everything is going well due to his grace. No matter how much inflation comes, we cannot reduce the items offered to him.

The price of puja items has increased by 20% but it has no effect on the devotees of Mahadev. There is no reduction in the thali of puja items. Crowds of devotees are seen in temples carrying thali full of puja items in their hands.
