The District Magistrate has taken a big action regarding the activities of brokers in government offices in Ghazipur. The District Magistrate himself was keeping an eye on the activities of brokers from time to time through CCTV. In this sequence, a broker was handed over to the police today.

DM did the inspection
Recently, District Magistrate Aryaka Akhouri inspected the Collectorate, Tehsil and District Secretariat. In which the District Magistrate had given strict instructions that no government work should be taken from any outsider nor should any broker roam around to collect money illegally.
Today when District Magistrate Aryaka Akhouri checked the activities of the District Secretariat through CCTV cameras from her office in the Collectorate, the activities of a private person appeared suspicious. The District Magistrate immediately called the Kotwali police and ordered to arrest the person.
Strict instructions given to officers
During interrogation, the said person was identified as Ajay Shrivastav, resident of Kalinagar Colony Phulanpur. He remains active on the desks of government departments here and there in order to earn money through illegal means. The District Magistrate directed the Kotwali police to take legal action against the said person.
Apart from this, he strictly instructed the desk in-charges that if they are found to be involved in such activities, action will be taken against them. The desk in-charge himself will be responsible for this.
