Due to the Kanwar Yatra, buses have to take longer routes, due to which the fare has been increased. If a bus goes to Lucknow via Bijnor, the fare will be Rs 47 more and if it goes via Bulandshahr, the fare will be Rs 89 more. As the number of Kanwariyas increases, the Bhainsali bus depot has been closed.

There will be route diversion due to Kanwar Yatra
Due to Kanwar Yatra, the route of roadways buses will be diverted soon. Buses going to Bareilly-Lucknow will pass through Bijnor-Bulandshahr. During Kanwar Yatra, roadways buses will operate on a changed route. Passengers will have to pay more fare due to the increased distance. Bhainsali bus depot will be closed as soon as the number of Kanwariyas increases. In such a situation, soon the operation of buses will start from Sohrab Gate depot.

Buses for Delhi, Lucknow and Haridwar will be available from Sohrab Gate
Buses for Delhi, Haridwar and Lucknow route will be available from Sohrab Gate only. Buses going to Haridwar will go via Bijnor and Najibabad. In this case, the distance will increase from 155 to 181 km. Therefore, the fare will increase by seven rupees. Buses going to Delhi, Noida will go via Kithor and Hapur. The fare will increase by six and eight rupees respectively.

2 routes of buses to Lucknow and Gorakhpur are fixed
Two routes have been fixed for buses going to Lucknow and Gorakhpur. Via Bijnor and via Bulandshahr. Normally the bus going to Lucknow travels 484 kilometers and the fare is Rs 725. If you go via Bijnor, you will have to pay Rs 47 more and if you go via Bulandshahr, you will have to pay Rs 89 more.

Center in-charge Asif said that currently buses are being operated from Sohrab Gate to Haridwar for Kanwar pilgrims. During route diversion, more than six hundred buses will be operated from the bus station. These buses are in addition to the buses coming from outside. Special arrangements have been made in the workshop for repair work etc.
