SP Rural Balwant Kumar said that the SHO of Nagsar Halt along with his team was checking suspicious vehicles and persons. Then a speeding Bolero was seen coming from Suhwal. An attempt was made to stop it.

But the Bolero driver tried to run over the police personnel and sped towards Dildarnagar. The information about this incident was given to the Inspector in charge Dildarnagar by the Police Station Head Nagsar.

The accused started running away as soon as he saw the police

It was told that when the Inspector in charge and SOG team present at the Wireless intersection surrounded the Nagsar Dildarnagar road in front of Karma village, the Bolero driver tried to escape by driving the Bolero on the railway track.

When the Bolero got stuck on the railway line, the Bolero driver opened fire on the police with the intention of killing them. The police team also fired back. The Bolero driver Sonu Nat got injured when the police bullet hit his leg. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The arrested miscreant is wanted under the Gangster Act of Karimuddinpur police station and 16 criminal cases are registered against him in various police stations.
