Netanyahu will also meet Kamala Harris after meeting US President Joe Biden.
Donald Trump said he will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday at his Florida resort.
“Looking forward to welcoming Bibi Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida,” the former president and Republican presidential candidate posted on his Truth Social platform. He initially said the meeting would be on Wednesday and then Thursday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to meet with US President Joe Biden on Thursday, the day after the Israeli premier delivers a major speech to the US Congress, a US official told AFP.
The date of the White House meeting had been in the air as Biden recovered in Delaware from Covid, with Israel initially reporting the leaders were to speak on Tuesday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with US Vice President Kamala Harris this week during his visit to Washington, an aide to Harris told AFP on Monday.
The White House meeting will be separate from President Joe Biden’s planned sit-down with Netanyahu, the aide said, and comes after Harris looks set to replace Biden atop the Democratic ticket following his shock end to his reelection bid.
