In Farrukhabad, Maudarwaja police station along with Tehsildar Shraddha Pandey took major action against former SP district vice president Devendra Singh alias Jaggu Yadav, accused of gangsterism, resident of Loco Road. Property worth more than 16 crores registered in the name of the SP leader’s wife was confiscated.

A gangster case was registered on June 12 against former SP district vice president Devendra Singh Jaggu Yadav, resident of Loco Road in Fatehgarh Kotwali area. In the case, his brother Yogendra alias Chunnu Yadav was said to be an accomplice. Police has arrested Devendra alias Jaggu and sent him to jail. The search for his brother is on.
On Wednesday, Maudarwaja police station, along with Qadri Gate police station and zonal force, took action to confiscate property. 28 properties in the name of Preeti Yadav, wife of Devendra Singh alias Jaggu Yadav, have been confiscated. This includes a residential building located in Maseni, worth Rs 3,90,70,500. A residential plot of 150 square meters located in Bagh Lakula, worth Rs 42 lakhs was confiscated. Agricultural land worth Rs 45 lakhs in the name of Preeti Yadav in Papiyapur was also confiscated. 26 properties located in Bagh Lakula, which include residential and commercial plots, are also included in the police action. Agricultural land in Papiyapur and a residential building under construction in Maseni are also included.
The details of the total 28 properties confiscated on Wednesday are worth Rs 16,36,09,427. Police said that the properties of the accused have been confiscated and notice boards have been installed. Gangster action is being implemented by finding out the properties of the accused.
