The government is not paying attention to our demands
Dr. Rashi Bajpai said that our salary is 12 thousand rupees. In other states, the salary of intern doctors is 25 to 30 thousand rupees. That is why we are continuously protesting, but the government is not paying any attention to our demands. This is the reason that we do not have any information till now.
Dr. Rashi Bajpai said that our strike will continue like this.
The show will continue in the same manner
Dr. Akanksha said that if our salary is not increased, we will continue this protest. No matter how much struggle we have to do for this, we will do it. Our salary is less than that of a laborer. Even after this, the government is not thinking anything for us. Our monthly salary should also be at least 30 thousand rupees.
Dr. Akanksha said that we get less salary than labourers.
Dr. Saurabh Nayak said that he became an MBBS after studying for 5 years. After that, he gets a salary of Rs 12,000. We are not able to sustain our lives with this.
The intern doctors are demanding that their monthly dues be increased to Rs. 30,000 so that they can give their full cooperation in medical services and contribute significantly in taking it to the top level.
Dr. Saurabh Nayak said the salary should be at least Rs 30,000.
Efforts have been made to convey their issues to the government
The intern doctors said that they have made several possible efforts to convey their issue to the government, but the Uttar Pradesh government and the Ministry of Education and Medical Sciences have ignored this issue and have not made any comment or taken any action. Today is the third day of our strike. After the failures, all the intern doctors of the state have decided that until the Uttar Pradesh government and the Ministry of Education and Medical Sciences take any concrete steps to increase the monthly dues of the intern doctors, all the intern doctors of the state will remain on strike.
Doctors said that if the demands are not met, the agitation will increase further.
Dr. Abhay Raj Singh, Dr. Divyanshi Mishra, Dr. Ruchi Singh, Dr. Gajendra Pratap Singh, Dr. Saurabh Nayak, Dr. Amitabh Pandey, Dr. Manish Kumar Gupta, Dr. Anubhav Rai, Dr. Ayush Pandey, Dr. Ansh Diwakar, Dr. Mohammad Ryan, etc. were present among the protesters.
