In Kanpur, villagers caught and beat up a youth who was stealing cattle and trying to sell them in the market. He was handed over to the police. The police is interrogating the arrested accused.

Brajraj Singh, a resident of Mavaiya village in Maharajpur area, gave a complaint letter to the police and said that two cattle were stolen on the night of July 21. While searching for the cattle, the victim reached the animal market Madhav Bagh and saw his buffalo getting down from the loader vehicle.

Accused Gaurav was caught and brought to Maharajpur police station and handed over to the police. Maharajpur police has started investigating the case by interrogating the accused. During police interrogation, he has confessed to cattle theft.

He told that Ashish and Vivek Kumar were involved in the theft along with him. Maharajpur police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar Pandey said that further action is being taken after investigating the matter.
