Shahjahanpur DM Umesh Pratap Singh is constantly visiting primary schools and reviewing the quality of education. The DM suddenly reached the primary school and made the children read English books. The DM has expressed displeasure when the quality of education was found to be not good.

Improving the quality of education
He instructed that the quality of education should be improved by giving extra time to the children. He warned that strict action will be taken if teachers are found absent before the scheduled time.
DM Umesh Pratap Singh conducted a surprise inspection of the village primary school Bilaria. During the inspection, the District Magistrate checked the cleanliness system, quality of education and attendance of children.
Make children read English books and listen to multiplication tables
During this, DM made the children present read English books and listened to multiplication tables. DM found cleanliness in the school to be good. DM expressed deep displeasure on finding the quality of education to be poor and reprimanded the concerned. He gave strict instructions that playing with the future of children will not be tolerated at all. Children should be given quality education and weak children should be taught by giving them extra time.
Strict action against absent teachers
He said that teachers should remain present in the schools till the scheduled time. If any teacher is found absent before the scheduled time, strict action will be taken against him.
DM Umesh Pratap Singh instructed that all teachers should give information to children about health and cleanliness along with studies. They should also teach them to maintain discipline. DM said that all children should be marked present in the school only in the prescribed dress.
