Heavy showers are likely to lash Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours.
Delhi woke up to a rainy morning on Thursday that brought much-awaited respite from the persistent humid weather. The Met Department has predicted light to moderate showers over the national capital.
Light to moderate rain spell is expected over Karawal Nagar, Dilshad Garden, Kashmiri Gate, Shahadra, Rajouri Garden, Red Fort, Preet Vihar, Buddha Jayanti Park, India Gate, Palam, Safdarjung, Lodi Road, IGI Airport, and Ayanagar areas on July 25.
Light Rains Likely Over Noida, Gurugram
Light showers are also likely to bring relief from the persistent humid weather to people in the NCR region. The IMD has predicted a cloudy sky over Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad with light to moderate rains along with thunderstorms.
The IMD has also forecasted light to moderate rainfall over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan during the next 5 days.
Heavy showers are likely to lash Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours.
The Delhi-NCR experienced a heavy spell of rain on Wednesday, causing severe waterlogging in several areas, including the Zakhira underpass, NH-24 highway, Moti Bagh, Tughlaq road, Akshardham flyover, and RK Puram.
The national capital recorded 108 mm of rainfall till 8.30 AM on Wednesday.
