Villagers in a village panchayat of Hardoi have been troubled for many years due to the filth. Despite so much time having passed, no responsible person has thought it fit to pay attention to this. Here, villagers have been struggling to get out of the stinking water filled with mud and dirt in the main corridor for many years.

People of Majra village Mihinpurwa of Gram Panchayat Sagarpur of development block Tardiyawan told that the villagers are forced to pass through the stinking water filled with mud and dirt in the main corridor for many years. Mosquitoes are also breeding in the water and mud. Due to the absence of any drain, the water from the houses also fills up in the corridor, the road is unpaved, due to the poor condition of sanitation system in the village, the villagers are facing the problem of dirt. The villagers have been suffering from the filth of the village for a long time.

The village Panchayat’s Sarpanch, Pradhan, Secretary and Panchayat representatives are not serious about cleanliness and construction of dirt roads and drains in the village. All the streets of the village are filled with swamp, mud and dirt due to lack of drainage of dirty water and cleanliness. Swachh Bharat Mission is being run across the country.

While the government is running a campaign through the Gram Panchayat to keep every village clean, but here the filth spread by the Panchayat Samiti is ruining the Swachh Bharat Mission. Due to the lack of drainage of dirty water from the houses, the dirty water is flowing in all the streets of the village, due to which the dirty water has turned into a swamp and a foul smell is emanating from it. It is full of mud and dirt.
