The police arrested the husband who murdered his wife.

In Ayodhya, a poultry farm worker strangled his wife to death on suspicion of illicit relations. He hid the body in a well. The police have arrested the accused husband in the case. He has also confessed to the crime.

The couple used to work in a poultry farm

Poultry farm operator Wasim Khan informed the Kotwali police that a couple from Uchhapali village used to work in his farm. The wife had gone missing 2 days ago. Now the husband has also gone missing.

After getting the information, Inspector Abhimanyu Shukla, in-charge of Inayat Nagar police station, reached Uchhapali village and started the investigation. The police team started searching for the missing husband and wife. After a lot of efforts, the police caught the husband. During interrogation, the accused husband confessed to killing his wife and hiding the body in the well.

Murder on suspicion of illicit relationship

The accused has also told the police that he suspected that his wife was having an affair with another man. Due to which he strangled her to death. He hid the body in a well so that no one else could find out about his wife’s murder.

The body was hidden in the well

The police recovered the body of the deceased from the well on the directions of the accused and brought it to the police station. After getting the Panchnama done, the body was sent for postmortem. The brother of the deceased gave a written complaint to the police against his brother-in-law who had murdered his sister.

On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case under various sections including murder. The accused was produced in the court from where he has been sent to jail.
