Kargil martyrs remembered in Balrampur: MLA said- India is a land of culture, forgiveness and courage, our soldiers have won many battles
On Friday, the 51st UP Battalion NCC organized the Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations at MLK Mahavidyalaya in Balrampur. During this, the immortal martyrs were saluted and their heroic saga was narrated. During this, Sadar MLA Paltu Ram was present as the chief guest along with Major General (Retired) SK Rao. MLA Paltu Ram said that India is a land of culture, forgiveness and courage. This country and its history are remarkable and inspiring for the world. Indians have gone through the most difficult scenes and yet have managed to maintain their pride. Our soldiers have fought many battles and have won them. For the progress of the country, keep striving for the unity of the country in a disciplined manner. Students presented a play. Major General SK Rao appealed to the cadets that it is not necessary that we can do something for the country only by going to the border. It is necessary that wherever we are, whatever post we hold, we should carry out such work from there which can contribute to the progress of the country. The true tribute to the immortal soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country will be that we too do not lag behind in protecting and progressing their nation. During this, the NCC students presented various types of programs and dramas. They paid homage by presenting programs based on the brave martyrs. These people were present in the program: Battalion Adam Officer lieutenant Colonel Anurag Ganjwar, NCC Officer Major Vandana Pandey, Lieutenant Madan Lal, Lieutenant Shashank, 3rd Officer Anand Chaudhary, Caretaker Officer Vandana Pandey, Subedar Nayak, Subedar Khadka Bahadur and others were present during the program.
