In fact, when Sangeeta, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar, had labour pain, she was brought to Lokbandhu Hospital at 10 pm on 22 July. Husband Vijay said that the pregnant woman was admitted in the emergency ward of Gynecology. The doctor said that the labour pain was not much right now. Hence, we will have to wait for delivery. The husband alleges that his wife was continuously suffering from labour pain. Despite this, the doctors did not bother to conduct the delivery. On the morning of 23 July, when her condition became critical, the doctors started taking her to the labour room. During delivery, the condition of the pregnant woman became critical. The wife died during treatment. The husband says that if the delivery had taken place at night itself, this situation would not have arisen.

Family members had complained of negligence

The family members alleged negligence in treatment. After the complaint, the hospital administration on Friday said that it will investigate the matter. After the complaint, the hospital administration has decided to investigate the matter. An investigation committee has been formed. According to the hospital’s CMS Dr. Rajiv Dixit, on the instructions of the director, a death audit will be conducted to find out the cause of death.

Action will definitely be taken against the culprit

Lokbandhu Hospital Director Dr. Suresh Kaushal said that the matter is serious. The pregnant woman died during delivery. The family members had alleged negligence. A team has been formed to investigate this matter. If anyone is found guilty, action will definitely be taken.
