In Sant Kabir Nagar, on Friday, under the banner of All India Pradhan Sangathan, the village heads reached the Collectorate with their problems and submitted a memorandum to District Magistrate Mahendra Singh Tanwar. During this, the village heads demanded the immediate resolution of the problems.

He said that due to the huge difference in the government and current market rates of bricks, cement and steel bars etc. used in the works being done under MNREGA and state finance, 15th finance, a lot of difficulties are being faced in doing the work. Which is not fair. The rates of the above materials should be improved by re-examining and conducting a survey. So that we do not have to face any kind of problems in doing the work.
Demand to increase the price of brick to Rs 22
In the same sequence, the rate of interlocking bricks used in Gram Panchayat has been reduced from Rs. 22 to Rs. 18. Whereas the rate of materials used in interlocking bricks has increased instead of decreasing. In such a situation, there is a demand to fix Rs. 22 per brick as before. During this time, many people including Gram Pradhan Ekhlaq Ahmed, Satpal Yadav, Inamullah, Pintu Rai, Damodar Pandey, Ramesh Chaudhary, Umair Khan, Bhim Rai of Aata Kala were present.
