Library President Kanchan Singh Parihar said that the State Library built in 1958 in the LT College campus has books from pre-independence to modern times. Apart from literature, stories, Nobel Prizes, competitive exams, there are 40 thousand books on many subjects including engineering, medical etc. There are 1500 members here. The library has 8 rare manuscripts which were also donated. Apart from this, rare books before 1958 are also present.

He told that this is the only government library in the entire district. Which is open from 8 am to 8 pm. To join this library, you have to pay only 500 rupees. He told that we have two big halls. Which are AC and 250 seats are available for sitting. He said that in the coming time, the facilities here will be expanded.

354 libraries will be opened in rural areas as well
Library President Kanchan Singh Parihar said that rural libraries will be opened to develop students at the intellectual level. It will be opened at the Gram Panchayat level. He said that according to the budget, we are starting 354 rural libraries in the villages here. Our effort is to establish the library as soon as possible. This library will have a computer, an assistant and more than 2000 books.
