With the construction of these bus stations, the pressure on Charbagh, Kaiserbagh, Alambagh and Kaiserbagh bus stations will be reduced. 2400 buses ply daily from the city’s bus stations. On Saturday, 8 bus stations will be built on the outer ring road.

Connectivity will increase for Ayodhya and Sultanpur

The eight bus stations proposed on Lucknow’s highway, ring road and outer ring will connect eight districts. So that passengers can travel easily. These include Lucknow to Sitapur, Mohan, Kanpur, Hardoi, Raebareli, Ayodhya, Kursi Road and Sultanpur Road. The search for land has begun in these areas. 10 acres of land will be needed to build a bus station.

A letter has been sent by the government to the District Magistrates. According to the letter, land has been asked to be provided for building bus stations on highways and ring roads. In this matter, Transport Corporation officials said that apart from bus workshops on 10 acres of land, charging stations for electric buses will be built on three acres of land.

Regional Manager of Transport Corporation RK Tripathi said that in order to make the city smart, bus stations will be developed outside the city. For this, land has been sought on Lucknow’s highway, ring road and outer ring road. In this regard, a proposal will soon be made and sent to the government from the headquarters.
