A horrific accident took place near Sarfabad village of Chandinagar police station area on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. A truck cleaner died in this accident. The police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem and started investigating the whole case.

Prem alias Ram Kishore, resident of Hasanpur Khurd of Etah district and his cleaner Surendra son Shambhu Dayal, who were residents of Kishanpur Sarotiya village of Rajaka Rampur police station of Etah, were returning to Haryana after dropping goods at Kasna district Gautam Buddh Nagar in their canter. As soon as they reached near Sarfabad village, their canter collided with a tempo parked on the side. The collision was so severe that the tempo overturned and cleaner Surendra died on the spot.
Tempo driver absconded from the spot
After the accident, the Canter and Tempo drivers fled from the spot. The police have filled the Panchnama of the dead body and sent it to Baghpat for postmortem. The relatives of the deceased have reached the postmortem house. Chandinagar Police Station in-charge Sanjay Singh says that the accident probably happened due to the driver dozing off. At present, the body has been taken into custody and the case is being investigated.
