Here on Saturday afternoon, Balram Savita son Bare Lal, Lala Savita son Shivraj, Rajendra Dubey son Lala Maharaj and Surendra alias Bade Lala son Gopal Singh and others had gone to graze their animals in the fields. At around 4 o’clock, they were grazing their animals near the water tank built near the village. Meanwhile, dark clouds appeared in the sky and it started raining heavily. To save themselves from this, all of them came under the neem tree standing nearby.
After getting information about the accident, family members and others reached the hospital.
During this time, lightning fell on the tree amidst thundering sound. Balram, Lala Savita, Surendra and Rajendra Dubey were struck by it. People standing near the water tank saw this and got terrified and admitted all of them to the medical college for treatment. In which Balram and Lala Savita died. While Rajendra and Surendra are being treated in the medical college. The family members are crying bitterly after hearing the news of death.
Compensation will be given as per rules
Tehsildar Abhinav Tripathi said that the family of the deceased and the injured will be given financial help as per the government rules. Two people are undergoing treatment at the medical college.
