Although the party’s focus is currently on the by-elections, brainstorming has also begun regarding the crowd coming to the office and the appointment of district presidents in different districts and metropolitan presidents in big districts. The party’s national president Akhilesh Yadav has indicated to the workers that he will take a decision on this after the Lok Sabha session ends.

Actually, the party chief had received complaints about many district presidents in the party. This includes district presidents of many districts of western Uttar Pradesh. By-elections are to be held on four assembly seats in western Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, before making new appointments in these districts, the leaders and workers of the area are being heard completely. The party believes that the person who is made the district president should be given a full opportunity. It should not happen that after making him, any kind of complaint is received and action has to be taken.

After seven and a half years the party has got a new state president

Samajwadi Party has got a new state president after seven and a half years. Naresh Uttam, who was the state president till now, has reached the Lok Sabha by winning the election from Fatehpur Lok Sabha seat. In his place, the national president had appointed Shyam Lal Pal as the state president of the party during the elections itself. Ever since Shyam Lal Pal became the state president, speculations are being made that at least there will be a radical change in the state organization of the party.

PDA will be taken full care of

After the success of PDA in the Lok Sabha elections, its reflection will be seen in the state organization as well. That is, Samajwadi Party will apply this formula in the appointment of district presidents as well. In such a situation, other castes can be accommodated by reducing the number of Yadav and Muslim district presidents.

Naresh Uttam’s dominance prevailed after Shivpal’s ouster

After the internal fight in Samajwadi Party in late 2016, Shivpal Singh Yadav was removed from the post of state president. After that Akhilesh Yadav became the state president, but later he handed over the responsibility of state president to Naresh Uttam Patel. Naresh Uttam remained the state president of Samajwadi Party continuously since then. Although he was opposed every time by the people of the party itself, but no one could do anything before the national president. This time the people of the party themselves suggested to field Naresh Uttam from Fatehpur. On the third day of Naresh Uttam’s ticket being announced, Shyam Lal Pal was appointed in his place.

Shyam Lal was appointed under the PDA formula

Shyam Lal Pal was appointed in Samajwadi Party under the PDA formula. What happened was that when Samajwadi Party distributed tickets for Lok Sabha elections, it accommodated all castes but Pal community was not represented. In such a situation, they appointed a leader of Pal community as the state president.
