Police has revealed the robbery of a hospital operator in Rampur after taking him hostage. In this case, 5 accused including the accused girl have been arrested. The girl along with her gang extorted money in the name of showing samples of medicines. Also, she got the accused to sign many cheques.

On 27th July, the hospital operator and victim Vijay Kumar Sharma gave a complaint in Civil Lines police station that a girl who told her name as Ananya and herself as a medicine businessman called him to her friend’s house in Rampur on 16th July to show medicine samples. The victim Vijay Kumar Sharma along with his friend Saurabh Sharma reached Bijli Ghar Colony in front of Petrol Pump at the place mentioned by him. Just then some people came there. They put a knife on his neck and threatened to kill him and took away his gold chain and gold ring, bracelet and 25 thousand rupees kept in his pocket and 87 thousand rupees through Google Pay on a mobile number. They got him to sign some papers and took two cheques of 50 thousand rupees from the cheque book of the victim, one of which was plain and the other cheque was filled with 50 thousand rupees in the name of Manisha.
Disclosure within 24 hours
In this case, a case was registered against Ananya, Omkar, Shivam, Sachin under BNS 2023. The police revealed this incident within 24 hours and today the Civil Lines police station arrested Bablu, son of Omprakash, resident of Vishnu Vihar Colony, Jwalanagar, Civil Lines Police Station, Rahul, son of Rajiv, resident of Ramnath Colony, Civil Lines Police Station, Shivam, son of Rameshchandra, resident of Gangapur Awas Vikas Colony, Civil Lines Police Station, Sachin, son of Omprakash, resident of Vishnu Vihar, Jwalanagar, Civil Lines Police Station, Manisha alias Ananya, wife of Mukesh, resident of Faizullanagar, Civil Lines Police Station. Cash, signed cheques, signed plain papers were recovered.
Many cases are registered against the accused
SP Vidyasagar Mishra said that in this case, 5 accused were arrested near Ashram Paddhati Mode with Rs 3250 cash, two Axis Bank cheques of Rs 50,000 each signed by the victim and two signed plain papers. Among these, two cases are registered against accused Bablu son of Omprakash, four against Rahul and several cases are registered against accused Manisha alias Ananya.
