On the occasion of Chaturmas Mangal Kalash Sthapana, he gave four principles of Chaturmas. These include devotion, knowledge, penance and worship. One should strive to attain these. Devotion means dedicating four months to the devotion of Guru and God. Knowledge means trying to understand the nature of the soul from the Gurus.
Jain monks gave sermons during the program.
Tapasya means to be ready to purify oneself of karmas by taking penance through fasting, vows and self-restraint and Aradhana means to contemplate again and again on what one has learnt. If we contemplate on these four points during Chaturmas, then our life is sure to be meaningful. By applying these principles in life, man can attain ultimate happiness by going closer to God.
Jain families did Mangal Kalash installation
During the program going on at the Jain temple, the Mangal Kalash was established by the families of the Jain community. The silver Mangal Kalash of Chaturmas was established by Asharani Pandya, Sanjay Pandya, Rajiv Pandya. The second Mangal Kalash was established by Dr SK Jain, Devendra Kumari Jain family, the third by Kailash Chandra Jain, Gaurav Jain, the fourth Mangal Kalash was established by Gyanendra Kumar Jain, Prashant Jain Raja’s family. Former MLC Jagveer Kishore Jain, Dr SK Jain, Devendra Kumari Jain, Anil Kumar Jain, Rajiv Jain, Sanjay Jain were present during the program.
