In view of the rising water level of Ghaghra river in Mau, Additional District Magistrate Satyapriya Singh inspected several villages affected by the flood. Apart from this, he also inspected the Haha Nala gauge and gave necessary instructions to the officials. He instructed the officers and employees of the irrigation department

The Additional District Magistrate assessed the agricultural area of the villages affected by the flood along with the Bairiya Deeh bridge of Taltaroy. These villages include coastal villages like Haibatpur Lal Khadra, Lakhnaur, Bairiya Deeh Taltaroy, Shivrajpur etc. After assessing the agricultural area of these villages, the disaster management will assess the ex-gratia amount to the concerned farmers.
ADM also inspected the flood post
During the inspection, the Additional District Magistrate also inspected the flood post Parsia Jayaram Giri. He instructed to ensure all the necessary arrangements at the flood post. Apart from this, the villages of the flood affected areas Chauhanpur, Ghazia Pur, Musa Dohi, Bhedkul, Sultanpur, Baroha and Molnapur were also inspected and necessary instructions were given to the concerned officials.
After the inspection, the ADM also asked the villagers to take precautions to prevent communicable diseases. He also instructed the concerned officials to spray medicines from time to time to prevent all diseases that occur during the rainy season. Along with this, the ADM also instructed all the officials in the flood affected areas to remain alert at all times.
