The Yogi government will present the first supplementary budget for the financial year 2024-25 on July 30 in the monsoon session of the legislature. The supplementary budget can be more than Rs 20 thousand crore. The meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the Legislative Assembly will discuss the ordinances to be presented in the monsoon session.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna presented the proposed program in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana. He said that the supplementary budget will be presented in the House on July 30 at 12.30 pm.
SP MLA Ravidas Mehrotra said that the proceedings of the House should be conducted for at least ten days. Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra Mona also proposed to extend the duration of the proceedings of the House.
12 ordinances will be introduced
12 ordinances, including the Uttar Pradesh State Capital Region and Other Areas Development Authority Ordinance, will be introduced in the monsoon session of the Assembly.
